WHO AND WHAT THESE TERMS COVER.
- WHO YOU'RE AGREEING WITH
These terms are between you and Grid Central [LEGAL COMPANY NAME AND NUMBER, ONCE REGISTERED]. They cover this website and the Grid Central app. By using either, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use them.
- WHO CAN USE GRID CENTRAL
You must be 16 or over. If you're 16 or 17, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms and make any purchase for you. The closed beta is for people 18 and over.
- THE BETA
The beta is free and unfinished. Features may change, break or disappear, and we may end the beta when the full app launches. Our beta terms also apply. Closed beta testers also sign the Beta Tester Agreement, and if it differs from these terms, the agreement applies.
HOW YOU MAY USE THE APP.
- WHAT YOU GET
A personal licence to install and use Grid Central on your own PCs, with the features of your plan. You don't own the app; we keep all rights in it.
- WHAT YOU MUST NOT DO
- Share, sell or give away your beta code or licence key
- Copy, resell, decompile or reverse-engineer the app, except where the law says you may
- Use Grid Central to break iRacing's rules or terms, or a league's rules
- Attack, overload or misuse our website, servers or other people's data
- IRACING AND OTHER SERVICES
Grid Central is an independent app. It is not made, endorsed or supported by iRacing.com Motorsport Simulations. You're responsible for following iRacing's terms. Features that connect to other services, like Discord, OBS, Twitch, YouTube or Firebase, also follow those services' terms, and we aren't responsible for them.
- YOUR CONTENT AND FEEDBACK
Your laps, setups, paints and overlays stay yours. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them to improve Grid Central without paying you.
FROM LAUNCH DAY.
- PLANS
Rookie is free. Driver, Race Team and add-ons such as Broadcast and extra seats are paid monthly or yearly at the prices shown at checkout. Beta tester perks are set out in the beta terms.
- HOW PAYMENT WORKS
Lemon Squeezy sells Grid Central to you as our reseller and handles payment and sales tax. Paid plans renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel any time and keep your plan to the end of the period you've paid for.
- PRICE CHANGES
If we change a price, we'll email you before it applies to your next renewal.
- REFUNDS
[REFUND POLICY TO BE DECIDED, FOR EXAMPLE: A FULL REFUND WITHIN 14 DAYS OF YOUR FIRST PAYMENT]. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under consumer law, such as the Australian Consumer Law.
LIMITS, CHANGES AND THE LAW.
- NO GUARANTEES
Grid Central's calls, coaching and strategy are help, not instructions. Always use your own judgement on track. To the extent the law allows, the app is provided as is.
- OUR LIABILITY
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses, such as lost race results, penalties or bans from iRacing or a league. Our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
- ENDING YOUR ACCESS
You can stop using Grid Central at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms.
- CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We'll update the date at the top of this page, and email you before important changes apply.
- THE LAW THAT APPLIES
These terms are governed by the law of [STATE AND COUNTRY, TO CONFIRM WITH A LAWYER].
